Key Responsibilities:

Your primary responsibilities will include leveraging cloud infrastructure and technology to enhance and advance our data platform capabilities. You are also expected to promote an engineering culture, advocating for best practices within the team and the broader organization.

While this position requires hands-on development, it also demands a commercial perspective and an understanding of broader business considerations in software engineering.

You will support your team by identifying and implementing improvements and efficiencies, with a strong focus on automation. Building trusted relationships is essential, and you will need to influence others regarding technical directions and recommend necessary procedural adjustments.

Additional Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop, deliver, and maintain high-quality software solutions
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for logic, coding/configuration, testing, and changes as required
  • Collaborate across various tech teams and business functions to drive successful outcomes
  • Gain a thorough understanding of customer needs to create outstanding healthcare products
  • Establish rapid, secure, and efficient data pipelines and storage solutions
  • Ensure the long-term scalability and maintainability of the Analytics Platform

Ideal Candidate Profile:

We are looking for candidates with substantial experience in Software Development.

You must possess technical expertise (in Python, Java, or .Net), have experience in an Agile environment, and be familiar with Cloud technologies (preferably AWS).

A passion for technology and staying informed about market and industry trends is crucial, as we value your ability to share knowledge and demonstrate improvements that benefit the business.

Other desirable skills include:

  • Experience with data storage technologies: Delta Lake, Iceberg, Hudi
  • Strong knowledge of Apache Spark, Databricks, or Hadoop
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Understanding of architectural best practices and patterns
  • Competency in evaluating and selecting development tools and technologies
