About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Early Years Training Specialist to join our dynamic team at Aspire Training Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessments to our learners, ensuring they achieve their goals and develop the skills they need to succeed in the Early Years sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver a range of award-winning qualifications in Early Years education, including Level 3 and Level 5 standards.
  • Use our e-portfolio system to manage the learner journey, ensuring accurate assessment and timely feedback.
  • Support a manageable caseload of learners, providing guidance and support to ensure they achieve their learning objectives.
  • Implement equal opportunities practices at all times, promoting diversity and inclusion in the learning environment.
  • Ensure efficient processing of paperwork and marking assignments within two weeks of presentation.
  • Meet with the Senior Manager on a regular basis to discuss individual learner development and progress.
Requirements
  • A Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Education, or equivalent, is essential.
  • Significant occupational competency in the Early Years sector, with experience in leadership and management.
  • Excellent time-keeping skills and ability to work independently, prioritizing workload and managing multiple tasks.
  • IT competency and ability to use e-portfolio systems.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for travel across the region.
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Experience in training and assessing Early Years to Level 5 standard and functional skills up to Level 2.
  • Teaching qualification (e.g. AET, PTLLS) and assessing qualification (e.g. A1, CAVA) would be advantageous.
