We are seeking an experienced Energy Management & Data Support Specialist to join our team at Red - Specialist Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities:- Collecting and verifying EU MRV and IMO DCS data on a daily basis, ensuring accuracy and making necessary corrections.
- Promoting energy efficiency within the office and seagoing workplaces, reviewing fleet/vessel energy consumption, and providing solutions to reduce energy usage.
- Reviewing vessel performance test data and supporting fleet groups to ensure their vessels are running as efficiently as possible.
- Providing support and assistance to the Energy Management & Data Lead as required, including deputizing during periods of vacation or absence.
- Monitoring daily submissions of vessel data to Eco Insights container and correcting as necessary.
- Preparing client reports as directed by the Energy Management & Data Lead.
- Reviewing Quarterly Shipboard Energy meeting minutes (SFTEC 30) and responding to vessels within designated timeframes.
- Promoting energy awareness throughout the fleet, ensuring all employees are mindful of energy usage.
- Participating in the Energy Committee and working with Fleet Groups to produce, review, and update Performance Dashboards.
- Contributing to the EEXI/CII Project Group and conducting Energy Management Familiarization for new employees and Senior Officers during the Induction Process.
- Enrolling vessels into ESI (Environmental Ship Index) to reduce port costs.
- Preparing and submitting SFENV 9 EU – CO2 Emissions Monitoring Plan and the Emissions.
- Preparing the SEEMP Part II and submitting it for Confirmation of Compliance and reviewing data reported by ships, with submission of aggregated annual reports for IMO DCS through Lloyds CO2 verifier.
- Assisting with projects within the Operations team as required.
