We are seeking a skilled HGV Driver to operate an 18T rigid vehicle for deliveries within Greater London and occasionally on longer routes outside the city.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vehicle Operations: Manage diverse delivery routes across Greater London and occasionally beyond, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Route Completion: Efficiently navigate routes with up to 15 stops, with potential for additional stops during peak periods.
  • Vehicle Safety: Conduct thorough vehicle safety checks before driving and record results.
  • Customer Service: Interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner while ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Delivery Assistance: Collaborate with a driver's mate to handle deliveries effectively, using the provided electric pump truck and tail-lift.

Requirements:

  • UK Class 2 Licence with no more than 6 points.
  • Digital Tacho Card and In-Date CPC Card.
  • Understanding of Tacho Regulations.
  • Excellent Communication Skills.
  • Experience in Central London.
  • Tail-Lift and Electric Pump Truck Operation.
  • Parking and Time Management skills.
