Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Rehabilitation Assistant to join our team at Circle Health Group. As a key member of our Physiotherapy team, you will play a vital role in supporting the rehabilitation of patients with a range of orthopaedic and musculo-skeletal conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver the ESCAPE pain programme and other rehabilitation groups for Circle Integrated Care in Greenwich.
  • Liaise with physiotherapists, patients, and carers to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of a broad range of orthopaedic and musculo-skeletal conditions.
  • Apply exercise principles and theories of exercise prescription and progression to support patient rehabilitation.
  • Manage stock levels and ordering of equipment to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Maintain accurate written records of work undertaken with patients.
  • Assist physiotherapists in the rehabilitation of patients using delegated exercises within your level of competency.
  • Prioritize your workload as delegated by physiotherapists and undertake ongoing professional development.
Requirements
  • A minimum of an NVQ 2 Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients, carers, and healthcare professionals.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and manage workload.
  • Experience working in a health and social care setting and evidence of relevant training/CPD.
  • Level 2/3 gym/instructor/personal trainer or equivalent qualification.
  • Level 3 exercise referral or a level 4 qualification.
