HGV Class Two Tipper Driver Job Description

Silver Arrow Recruitment is seeking a skilled HGV Class Two Tipper Driver to join our team. As a tipper driver, you will be responsible for transporting aggregates and building supplies to various sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a Scania or Volvo truck to transport aggregates and building supplies
  • Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods to sites
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
  • Comply with all relevant regulations and company policies

Requirements:

  • HGV Class Two license
  • Valid CPC and DCPC
  • No more than 6 points on your license, with no IN, DD, or DR penalty codes
  • At least 2 years of HGV experience, with 1 year of tipper experience
  • Muck away experience is essential

What We Offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate of £16 per hour
  • A temp-to-perm opportunity with a bonus scheme based on the number of tips completed
  • A supportive and collaborative work environment

Shift Pattern:

  • Monday to Friday, with a start time of 0615 and out of the yard by 0700
  • Average shift length of 8 to 10 hours
