Job Summary:
The Digital Preservation Coalition is seeking a highly skilled Research Associate to contribute to the preservation and curation of digital collections. The successful candidate will play a key role in the development and implementation of digital preservation strategies, working closely with the Coalition's team to ensure the long-term accessibility and usability of digital assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake data collection and curation to support the development of digital preservation strategies
- Manage communications with stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and knowledge sharing
- Contribute to the organisation and delivery of project events and workshops
- Develop and maintain relationships with key partners and stakeholders to advance the Coalition's goals
Requirements:
- Substantial knowledge in an area relevant to digital preservation and curation
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
