We are seeking a highly skilled Piping Calculation Specialist to join our team at SEIMAF UK. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for performing mechanical stresses analyses, piping flexibility calculations, and assessing the mechanical behavior of piping networks.
Key Responsibilities- Perform mechanical stresses analyses and piping flexibility calculations to ensure compliance with codified criteria.
- Analyze and update hypothesis notes and loading description reports to ensure accuracy.
- Propose modifications to piping designs to meet sizing criteria.
- Closing open points and comments to ensure project completion.
- Assess and answer technical issues arising during manufacturing, construction, and erection.
- Integrate modifications coming from stakeholders after packages are handed over to site.
- Perform hand calculations and run anchorages macros to assess feasibility of modifications.
- Check calculation notes and guide drawings subcontracted to external companies.
- Propose improvements for studies not finalized.
- Maintain QA procedures in delivering design.
- Work with CAD designers/detailers in preparation of design drawings.
- Lead technical meetings with suppliers and other necessary support entities.
- Interface with stakeholders and coordinate activities related to anchorages.
- Hybrid working (2 days from home).
