Our facility operates under stringent COMAH regulations, ensuring the highest standards in chemical production while safeguarding our workforce and the ecosystem.
Position Overview: We are in search of a proficient and seasoned HSEQ Manager to become a vital part of our vibrant team. This role involves direct reporting to the Site Manager and close collaboration with the manufacturing leadership team. The HSEQ Manager will be instrumental in guaranteeing regulatory compliance, executing best practices, and spearheading continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate, execute, and uphold HSEQ management frameworks in alignment with ISO 45001, ISO 9001, and other pertinent standards.
- Oversee all facets of health, safety, environmental, and quality management, encompassing risk evaluations, audits, and incident investigations.
- Offer expert advice and assistance to manufacturing operations, ensuring adherence to safe practices and environmental sustainability.
- Manage compliance with COMAH regulations, including reporting and emergency response protocols.
- Foster a culture of safety, environmental responsibility, and ongoing improvement through effective communication and training initiatives.
- Engage with regulatory bodies, stakeholders, and internal teams to guarantee compliance with legal and industry standards.
- Lead and facilitate change management efforts, promoting a proactive stance in identifying and addressing potential risks and opportunities.
Requirements:
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline; a master's degree in environmental studies is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a comparable position within the petrochemical or chemical manufacturing field.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with wastewater byproducts and environmental management practices.
- Proven experience with COMAH regulations and reporting obligations.
- Familiarity with ISO 45001, ISO 9001 standards, and NEBOSH certification.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated capability to drive change and effectively implement best practices.
