Siamo Recruitment is currently seeking dedicated Yard Operatives.

Our client, a prominent player in the renewable energy sector, is expanding its workforce and is in need of a skilled Yard Operative who possesses either a Reach Truck license or is Telehandler trained.

Please be aware that the majority of the tasks will be conducted outdoors on a private site, thus candidates must be comfortable working in various weather conditions.

What we offer to our Yard Operatives:

  • Competitive salary starting at £14.00 per hour.
  • Standard working days from Monday to Friday.
  • Working hours from 08:00 AM to 04:00 PM.

Key Requirements for the Yard Operative role:

  • Must hold a Reach Truck or Telehandler license.

  • Forestry experience is considered advantageous.

Main Responsibilities of a Yard Operative:

  • Collecting logs.
  • Bagging cut logs, sawdust, and other assorted materials.
  • Operating machinery for log cutting.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the yard on a daily basis.
  • Complying with health and safety regulations.

  • Physically fit and capable of handling demanding tasks.
