Job Summary

Spire Healthcare is seeking a skilled and dedicated Theatre Recovery Practitioner to join their team on a fixed-term contract basis. As a key member of the perioperative team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient recovery of patients following surgery.

About the Role

  • Assess patient health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload, providing high-quality care to meet individual needs.
  • Prepare recovery bays and provide exceptional patient care after surgery.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Promote best practice in health and safety, security, and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner with previous experience in recovery.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Desirable: ALS and Airway Maintenance certifications, with opportunities for training and development.
