About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled MRI Radiographer to join our team at InHealth Group. As an MRI Radiographer, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver magnetic resonance imaging procedures to best practice standards, adhering to regulatory guidelines and industry standards.
- Provide exceptional patient care and support, ensuring a positive experience for patients attending MRI scanning.
- Run quality assurance checks on equipment and take corrective action as necessary.
- Respect and work within patients' and service users' customs, values, and spiritual beliefs.
- Perform triage functions of referrals and support patient bookings.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient information systems.
- Complete competency assessments and adhere to operational procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Share knowledge and clinical experience with the wider team to support each other's growth and development.
- BSc Radiography or equivalent qualification.
- Membership of an appropriate professional body and holds a valid registration.
- Good understanding of fundamental MRI physics and different scanning techniques and sequences.
- Proven knowledge of the requirements of a radiographer's role regarding patient care and colleague relationships.
- High level of professionalism and technical standard of work.
- Aptitude towards improving quality and patient outcomes.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and communicate effectively.
- Understanding of data protection and confidentiality principles.
- Flexible approach to work and ability to work across 7 days.
- Strong team player attitude, being supportive, caring, reliable, and trustworthy.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and in a busy environment.
- Positive attitude, taking pride in work, and passion for delivering high-quality services.
- Working with MRI equipment in a hospital or mobile setting.
- Experience in basic and routine MRI examinations, with a desire to learn more complex scans.
- Training in infection control, manual handling, and basic life support.
- Experience in scanning with contrast or a willingness to learn.
- Knowledge of health and safety policies and procedures with imaging equipment.
