Job Summary:

Staffing Match - London Transport is seeking experienced HGV 7.5T drivers to join our team on a long-term, temp-to-perm basis. As a 7.5 tonne driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to customers' homes or flats, working with an experienced driver or driver's mate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a 7.5 tonne vehicle, completing deliveries to customers' homes or flats.
  • Unload goods and deliver to the room of choice.
  • Complete paperwork and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Work as part of a 2-man crew, collaborating with an experienced driver or driver's mate.

Requirements:

  • Hold a 7.5 tonne licence or above, CPC, and Digi card.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work long days, with variable finish times.
  • DBS and drug and alcohol test required before starting.
  • No more than 6 penalty points or disqualifications, no DR, DD, TTs, or IN10s.
