Position Overview
This role of Finance Business Partner is based in Bristol, UK, and offers a hybrid working model that balances office presence with remote work, ensuring a healthy work-life integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and generate financial reporting packages, providing insights to program managers regarding variances.
- Maintain and develop baselines, manage performance, and conduct analysis on estimates at completion.
- Implement, monitor, and analyze program budgets and schedules.
- Conduct earned value management, including its implementation, maintenance, and reporting.
- Organize cost and schedule data for monthly program reviews.
- Prepare and oversee funding plans, including labor and subcontract/material forecasts.
- Analyze data for monthly forecast reviews, covering orders, sales, operating income, and cash flow.
- Prepare estimates to complete (ETC) and estimates at completion (EAC) based on inputs from program staff.
- Engage in presentations and discussions during internal and external financial and schedule meetings.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the organization to foster a positive work environment.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the Finance Business Partner role will possess the following:
- Minimum part-qualified in finance.
- Previous experience in program finance.
- Experience in finance business partnering.
- Comfortable presenting to various levels within the organization.
- Advanced skills in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel modeling.
- Proactive problem-solving abilities.
