SecureCloud+ is seeking a skilled Senior Cloud Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and management of scalable, secure, and efficient Azure cloud infrastructure solutions.

About the Role

The Senior Cloud Engineer will collaborate with various teams to ensure cloud solutions are optimized for performance, cost-efficiency, and security while adhering to the highest standards of cloud architecture. A passion for cloud technologies and a focus on continuous improvement are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cloud Architecture: Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure that is scalable, secure, and aligned with the Azure Well-Architected Framework.
  • Infrastructure Management: Oversee and manage complex Azure cloud deployments, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and cost-efficiency.
  • Automation: Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline cloud operations and manage resources efficiently.
  • Security: Design and deploy Azure cloud systems with a security-first mindset, adhering to the highest security standards.
  • Monitoring: Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, identify issues, and troubleshoot to ensure continuous uptime and resource optimization.
  • Coaching and Mentoring: Collaborate with development, operations, and IT teams to support and integrate cloud solutions.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for cloud architecture, policies, and processes.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: Proven experience designing, deploying, and managing Azure cloud environments.
  • Skills: Strong background in cloud architecture, infrastructure management, and security best practices. Experience with automation, scripting, and CI/CD tools (e.g., Terraform, PowerShell, Azure DevOps).
  • Certifications: Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Security Engineer) are preferred.
