Senior Buyer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Buyer to join our team in the automotive industry. As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a pivotal role in maximising value, optimising benefits, and enhancing efficiency in indirect procurement across the Region and the Group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all tender renewal processes for indirect procurement, including liaising with key suppliers and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers cross-functionally to ensure maximum efficiency and cost savings.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure governance and process awareness.
  • Be the primary point of contact for both internal and external customers for Indirect Procurement in the UK.
  • Ensure effective implementation and compliance with new procurement processes and systems.
  • Analyse supplier performance and ensure that the best price and service are achieved.
  • Establish clear communication channels with key stakeholders through regular business review meetings.
Requirements
  • Significant experience in procurement with a focus on Indirect Procurement.
  • Degree or CIPPS certification is desirable.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with teams across the organisation.
  • Experience working in a matrix organisation.
