About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accounts Assistant to join our busy finance team at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering complex financial information and analysis to support the Trust's financial management and planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, calculate, plan, and monitor complex financial information using Excel spreadsheets and other Microsoft programs, ensuring accurate input of data and coding of transactions.
  • Plan, oversee, and coordinate the production of complex monthly financial reports to an agreed timetable.
  • Provide complex financial information and analysis, producing reports and ensuring that all systems and processes are up to date and accurate to assist with year-end accounting activities.
  • Attend meetings in support of the Financial Management Reporting team as required.
