We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Shop Manager to join our team at Cats Protection. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will play a vital role in driving sales and revenue growth, while ensuring exceptional customer service and a positive shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in managing all shop activities, including sales, customer service, and inventory management.
- Oversee and manage a team of volunteers, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to deliver excellent customer service.
- Take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the shop, ensuring it meets agreed income and expenditure targets.
- Manage shop accounting procedures, including cash reconciliation, daily banking, and till procedures.
- Previous retail experience, preferably in a management role.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Highly self-motivated and positive individual, with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with a variety of people.
- Confidence working well on own initiative, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- A competitive salary of up to £8,400 per annum.
