The complexities of the students' needs require a compassionate approach, including personal care and the use of mobility aids, making prior experience in these areas essential.

We are looking for a Care Support Specialist who is enthusiastic and has a positive demeanor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with and respond to the needs of all learners, fostering independence.
  • Provide Learning Support on both an individual and group basis.
  • Adopt a person-centered approach, customizing support to meet specific requirements.
  • Collaborate effectively with young individuals and educational staff.
  • Deliver personal care when necessary.
  • Perform administrative duties and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 months experience as a Care Support Specialist with young adults.
  • Experience in supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities.
  • Strong Communication and Listening Skills.
  • Valid DBS / CRB certification.
