Job Summary:

Grandir UK is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Room Leader to join our management team at our Kiddi Caru Day Nursery in Peterborough. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing professional leadership to all staff members and maintaining the highest standards of care and education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote high standards of quality within the nursery, ensuring compliance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements.
  • Support and supervise playroom staff with their day-to-day duties, providing guidance and feedback to ensure excellent care and education.
  • Deploy staff appropriately to ensure that the required standards are delivered and maintained within the rooms.
  • Ensure the effective implementation of nursery keycarer procedures and allocate children to keycarers appropriately.
  • Provide professional, relevant feedback to parents/carers about their child's progress and development.
  • Promote the nursery to current parents and potential customers, showcasing our commitment to delivering high-quality childcare and education.
  • Develop open and positive working relationships with staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Ensure that all staff develop and maintain friendly, professional relationships with parents and carers.

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS check required.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
