Job Summary:

Pertemps Scotland is seeking a skilled and reliable Postal Courier to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering mail and parcels to customers across various locations in Stirling and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sort and collect post and parcels at the local delivery office
  • Use a hand-held device to capture customer signatures for deliveries and navigate your route
  • Walk at least 8 miles per day, carrying a bag that can weigh up to 16kg, delivering letters and parcels with parcels weighing up to 20kg
  • Drive and deliver on foot, pushing/pulling a trolley during deliveries

Requirements:

  • Valid UK driving license with a maximum of 6 points (a clean license is preferred)
  • Previous delivery or driving experience is preferred but not mandatory
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities
  • A commitment to safe and responsible driving practices
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
