Job Title: Ocean Freight Coordinator

WR Logistics is seeking a highly skilled Ocean Freight Coordinator to join our team. As an Ocean Freight Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods by sea, ensuring timely and efficient delivery to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete import and export consignments via sea freight
  • Create bookings from the origin
  • Provide freight rates, quotes, and pricing solutions for customers
  • Liaise with overseas agents, shipping lines, merchant haulage, and various carriers
  • Track and update shipment statuses in the company's system and provide regular updates to clients
  • Completion of customs entries/clearances
  • Ensure compliance with import regulations and trade compliance laws
Requirements:
  • End-to-end Ocean Freight Operations knowledge
  • Air freight knowledge is an advantage
  • Working knowledge of the International freight forwarding industry
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and the wider team
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Develop trust and respect from colleagues and clients
  • Identify problems early and respond in a timely fashion
  • Proactive and professional persona
