Job Title: Sales Assistant

We are seeking a Sales Assistant to join our team at our Burton upon Trent branch. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in the sale of our full range of building supplies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Dealing with customers face to face and over the telephone to provide excellent customer service.
  • Taking a proactive approach to sales, using every opportunity to make or increase a sale.
  • Working alternate Saturday mornings to meet the needs of our customers.
Requirements:
  • Previous trade counter sales experience in a busy merchant environment is preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a good telephone manner.
  • Computer literate and able to use our sales systems.
  • Sales experience within a merchant environment is preferred.
  • Building supplies product knowledge is advantageous.
