As a Resident Engagement Coordinator within our organization, you will play a vital role in enriching the lives of our residents through a dynamic lifestyle program designed to promote meaningful engagement and occupation within the care environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess the individual needs, preferences, and aspirations of residents through comprehensive profiles, life histories, care plans, observations, and direct conversations, ensuring a person-centered approach.
- Adapt your work schedule to meet the diverse needs of residents and service delivery within the home.
- Design and implement a weekly activity program for the home, collaborating with care staff and other team members, including weekends and evenings.
- Ensure that all plans and necessary resources are available for staff to follow in your absence.
- Integrate all elements of the B&M Care Engagement and Activities Framework into your program planning.
- Identify residents who may be isolated and develop tailored, person-centered activities for them.
- Communicate weekly schedules and updates effectively, utilizing technology for creating informative posters and schedules.
