About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate EYFS specialist to join our team at a thriving primary school in central Plymouth. As an EYFS teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of young learners and contributing to a supportive and inclusive school community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning to children in the Early Years Foundation Stage, fostering a love for learning and meeting the needs of all pupils.
  • Plan and implement engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities, ensuring effective use of EYFS assessment frameworks.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to support children's development.
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to support children's development and address any concerns or challenges that may arise.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in EYFS teaching and a solid understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
  • A commitment to creating an inclusive and stimulating learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth.
  • An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) and a passion for working with young children.
