Welding Instructor

Protocol is working closely with a Further Education College based in Slough to find an experienced welding lecturer to deliver content to students across various levels within the college.

This is a part-time role on a temporary ongoing basis. You will be working within the college's engineering department, supporting, teaching, training, and assessing students on their courses of study. Your responsibilities will include delivering education and training to high standards, preparing student materials, assessing and marking student work, and carrying out student tutorials and assessments to ensure each student achieves their best during their time in the college.

We are seeking individuals who are passionate about engineering and have relevant experience in both educational and industry fields. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students or apprentices in a college or educational setting, be upbeat, motivational, and knowledgeable in the subject area to educate and inspire learners.

• DBS must be on the update service
• Relevant professional/trade qualification at a minimum of Level 3
• A teaching qualification or an assessor's award
• Experience delivering/assessing welding at various levels
