Job Title: Registered Paediatric Nurse

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Paediatric Nurse to join our team at Croydon Health Services NHS Foundation Trust. As a Paediatric Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to children and young people, working closely with families and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to children and young people, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and carers, promoting a culture of empathy, respect, and open communication.
  • Participate in education and training programs to maintain and enhance clinical skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based guidelines.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and guidelines that promote high-quality patient care and safety.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6 months paid experience in a Paediatric hospital environment within the last 3 years.
  • Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices.
  • A Paediatric Nursing Degree.
