About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Removals General Manager to join our team at Red Recruit Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our removals business, leading and motivating the team, and providing guidance and support to team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Job Management: Allocate resources to jobs, ensuring estimated costs are met while maintaining high customer service standards.
  • Team Leadership: Oversee the recruitment process, provide training, and develop strong working relationships with partners and suppliers.
  • Business Development: Work with sales colleagues to develop new business opportunities, devise promotional strategies, and generate new leads.
  • Operations Management: Ensure company vehicles operate in accordance with legislation and regulations.
  • Customer Service: Handle customer queries and complaints.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a managerial role within the removals and storage industry.
  • Ability to demonstrate a track record of achieving business growth and profitability targets.
  • Good knowledge of removals processes, logistics, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in using computer software.
  • Strong communication skills and first-class customer service skills.

What We Offer:

Up to £55,000 + profit bonus.
