About the Role

NPL Management is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Science Strategist to join our team. As a key member of our Environment team, you will play a crucial role in identifying and developing our Environment strategy, working closely with our scientists to engage stakeholders, identify new science opportunities, build our scientific capabilities, and support the delivery of impactful science.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of strategic research projects that provide new insights to strategy, business development, or science research, leveraging your expertise in environmental sustainability and climate change mitigation.
  • Conduct strategic analytical desk research to pull together policy, market, high-level technical, and scientific inputs, identifying new insights and challenges relevant to NPL measurement science.
  • Develop relationships and raise the profile of NPL in the Environment arena through content-driven engagement with external stakeholders, collaborating with marketing to provide knowledge and content for marketing outputs.
  • Support Strategic Business Development managers with knowledge and analytical content needs, particularly in new funding streams and opportunities to NPL, demonstrating your ability to efficiently manage multiple complex projects.
  • Bring a commercial/business mindset to your work, ensuring a deep understanding of the business implications of your research and recommendations.
