About the Position:
We are in search of a Lead Front-End Developer who is eager to enhance the home buying experience while also fostering a high-performing front-end engineering team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with fellow front-end developers and the wider engineering organization to create a seamless and engaging user experience for Acre. We value motivation, a technology-agnostic mindset, and a passion for producing high-quality work. Our team is committed to user-centric design, and you will be instrumental in building a distinctive and aesthetically pleasing system that stands out in the market.
Your Responsibilities:
As a pivotal member of the engineering team, you will oversee the design, implementation, and testing of the user interface that empowers consumers, brokers, and operational teams to effectively navigate the mortgage research and application process. Your role will involve writing reusable, testable, and efficient code that ensures a smooth and appealing user experience. Throughout the software development lifecycle, you will engage with the business to translate requirements into actionable development tasks while also mentoring your peers.

You should be both ambitious and pragmatic, balancing innovation with practicality.

Additionally, as a Lead Front-End Engineer, you will advocate for and uphold software engineering best practices and foster a culture of quality within the Frontend Development team and across the codebase. There is also potential for career advancement into people management roles if desired.
