Job Opportunity for a Year 2 Teacher

Step Teachers is working with a Primary School in Watford to find a dedicated Year 2 Teacher to support a class of enthusiastic pupils. The ideal candidate will be passionate about engaging with students and contributing to a positive educational atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver comprehensive and engaging lessons to meet the needs of students.
  • Maintain a well-organised classroom and ensure the safe use and storage of equipment.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to achieve school goals.
  • Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and monitor student development.
  • Comply with school policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Hold Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification.
  • Recent experience as a Year 2 Teacher - Key Stage 1.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
