Funding Opportunity Overview

Maximum Award: £5,600,000

This funding initiative aims to establish a dedicated centre for neuromorphic computing in the UK. The centre will serve as a pivotal hub for interdisciplinary collaboration, fostering research and showcasing the transformative potential of this technology in achieving net zero objectives across various emerging technologies and applications, including artificial intelligence and quantum computing.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be affiliated with a UK research organization that qualifies for EPSRC funding. The full economic cost (FEC) of the proposed project can reach up to £5,600,000, with EPSRC covering £4,480,000 (80%) of the FEC.

Project Duration

Funding will be allocated for one centre under this opportunity, with projects permitted to last up to four years.
