About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Surveyor to join our team at EC Property Recruitment Ltd. As a Building Surveyor, you will play a key role in the success of our company, working on a diverse range of projects primarily focusing on Commercial fit-out work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Oversee the delivery of projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Dilaps: Conduct thorough dilapidations surveys to identify defects and recommend repairs.
  • Party Wall Matters: Manage party wall disputes and negotiations to ensure smooth project progression.
  • Specification Writing: Develop and implement specifications for building projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Acquisition Surveys: Conduct thorough surveys of properties to identify potential defects and recommend repairs.
Requirements
  • Building Surveying background: Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • RICS accredited degree: Preferred, but not essential.
  • Strong client-facing skills: Ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Project Management skills: Proven ability to manage projects from inception to completion.
  • Party Wall expertise: Knowledge of party wall procedures and dispute resolution.
  • Specification writing skills: Ability to develop and implement specifications for building projects.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary, negotiable based on experience, with a potential salary of up to £65k. For an Assistant level candidate, the starting salary will realistically be around £35k. In addition to a competitive salary, the package includes a bonus scheme, pension, healthcare, and other benefits.
