About the Role:

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to teachers and students in a primary school. Your duties will include:

  • Providing physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care for children
  • Supporting the school staff to facilitate the active participation of children in academic and social activities
  • Contributing to raising standards of achievement for all pupils
  • Implementing the daily routine and planning age-appropriate activities
  • Assisting children in personal/intimate care and regularly evaluating their development
  • Liaising with parents/carers of children, as directed by the school's class teacher
  • Upholding the Ripple Education ethos and all safeguarding requirements
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 references
  • Enhanced DBS clearance
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant / Level 6 Qualification - Degree
  • Experience working in a primary school
