Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Facilities Manager to join our team at Serco. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day organization of planned maintenance work, reactive repairs, and local projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of maintenance plans to ensure the establishment is safe and compliant.
  • Plan and program maintenance activities according to the CAFM system and prioritize work in a hierarchy of safety, compliance, and contractual needs.
  • Allocate work to staff on a daily basis and track, monitor, and manage the progress of work and the productivity of staff.
  • Provide challenge and assurance to ensure work is delivered to the highest standards and within timescales.
  • Deputize for the Facilities Manager in their absence in dealing with staff management and development.
  • Monitor spend and financial commitments in line with policy and guidance, produce spend data as and where required.

Additional Requirements

  • Manage and monitor the Facilities "Out of Hours" call out roster.
  • Deputize for the FM Manager at meetings and other absences.
