Marketing Assistant & Copywriter Job Description

Green Shoots Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Marketing Assistant & Copywriter to provide administrative, copywriting, and campaign support across all aspects of the Marketing function. The ideal candidate will have a keen attention to detail, strong writing skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across all departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Liaise with the SEO Agency to create a SEO strategy and ensure all content is optimised.
  2. Monitor and reply to testimonial reviews, social media messages, and Google Profile updates.
  3. Manage the Google Shop, Web Stories, and Facebook Articles.
  4. Assist with the organisation of photos after photoshoots and update product categories based on sales figures and keyword research.
  5. Create marketing reports and monitor analytics to inform marketing strategies.
  6. Assist with product uploading to marketing selling platforms, including sourcing measurements, organising images, and obtaining product and price information.
  7. Update selling platforms with product prices and optimised descriptions.
  8. Perform daily stock updates on Website, Wayfair, eBay, and other external shopping channels.
  9. Input stock from weekly 'Tick Lists' and liaise with purchasing and finance to ensure all stock is uploaded.
Requirements:
  1. Excellent writing skills and command of the English language.
  2. Exceptional organisational skills to manage the product uploading process.
  3. Ability to communicate effectively across all departments.
  4. Keen eye for detail and ability to think creatively for marketing campaign ideas.
  5. Strong team player with a flexible approach when working in a team.
  6. Ability to work under pressure to achieve tight deadlines.
  7. Willingness to support all members of the marketing team and pick up workload to achieve business goals and objectives.
  8. 1-2 years' experience in a Marketing role.
  9. Copywriting experience and excellent writing skills.
  10. Bachelor's degree (with a concentration in marketing or business preferred).
  11. Organised with an eye for detail and ability to multi-task.
  12. Ability to work independently and adapt to unfamiliar situations.
  13. Passion for Marketing and creative thinking.
  14. Analytical skills and ability to work with data.

  10. SAGE 50 experience is desirable, not essential.
  11. Canva experience is desirable, not essential.
  12. Email Platform experience, such as Klaviyo and Mail Chimp is desirable, not essential.
  13. Social Media management is desirable, not essential.
  14. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite software's is desirable, not essential.

Special Conditions:

May be required for occasional weekend work and to attend trade shows.
