Electrical Maintenance and Repair Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance and Repair Specialist to join our team in Dudley. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections of electrical systems, plant, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake proactive maintenance, repairs, and inspections of electrical systems, plant, and equipment
  • Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems, plant, and equipment in accordance with the PPM programme
  • Respond promptly to breakdown requests and administer installation work involved in minor upgrading and adaptation works
  • Participate in emergency on-call rota and respond safely to the effects of bad weather

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a maintenance environment, ideally in Healthcare or Education
  • Qualified to 18th Edition IEE Regulations
  • Testing and Inspection experience ideal but not essential
  • Knowledge of HTM desirable but not essential
  • Multi-skilled experience in Fabric or Mechanical advantageous
  • Effective communication skills and willingness to become LVAP and other AP role where required
  • Recognised apprenticeship in a relevant engineering discipline and GCSE/O Level Mathematics and English or equivalent
  • Prepared to work out of hours as necessary and travel to other sites within the Company
  • Possess a current valid driving licence

This role includes a DBS Enhanced with Barred Lists check, and the ability to pass is essential.
