Housing Digital Systems Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housing Digital Systems Manager to lead our client's digital transformation journey in the public sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a key liaison between our client's Housing Digital Systems team and service managers to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize the utilization of line of business applications, ensuring they support business processes efficiently.
  • Embrace agile methodologies and user-centered approaches to drive innovation and change, improving the overall user experience.
  • Oversee the relationship with line of business system suppliers, ensuring compliance and the improvement of usability and consistency.
  • Maintain a clear roadmap for the system, incorporating patches, upgrades, and improvements to ensure seamless system operation.
  • Coordinate and oversee the delivery of requests, projects, and changes to line of business systems, ensuring timely and effective implementation.
  • Establish and maintain a network of key system users for each system, ensuring they are adequately trained and supported.
  • Work collaboratively with other disciplines and vendors to ensure compliance and the improvement of usability and consistency.
Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Advanced knowledge of workflow-based ICT line of business systems, including system administration functions.
  • Familiarity with national data and information frameworks as set out by government departments.
  • Understanding of GDPR and role-based security needs for managing line of business systems.
  • Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Effective team management and leadership skills.
  • Experience in delivering transformation and change within systems and processes.
  • Demonstrated experience in a leadership role in line of business systems management.
