About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Graduate Structural Engineer to join our team at Ayesa - UK and Ireland. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality services to our clients and contributing to the overall success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with the project team to ensure all designs meet set standards and recommendations are robust, value-based, and commissionable.
  • Develop and implement design solutions that meet the brief and are completed on time.
  • Inspect construction work and verify that all aspects of design are correctly implemented.
  • Monitor processes and results to ensure compliance with relevant safety, legal, ethical, and regulatory requirements.
  • Make informed decisions and exercise initiative to drive project success.
  • Assist at the tender stage of projects and contribute to the development of project proposals.
Requirements
  • Hold a minimum 2.1 degree or Master's in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Have experience in structural and/or civil works, although this is not essential for this position.
  • Demonstrate proven technical knowledge of design in steel and reinforced concrete works and proficiency in relevant software.
  • Be experienced and confident in report writing and presentation skills.
  • Effectively communicate with colleagues and external agencies, building strong working relationships and exceeding client expectations.
  • Adhere to all Codes of Practice, Design Standards, and Health and Safety Regulations.
  • Represent and promote Ayesa in a professional manner.
  • Commit to Continued Professional Development and achieving Chartered status.
