Business Analyst

Tarmac Trading Limited is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst - Sustainability Performance to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in driving business performance and sustainability.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data. You will work closely with our strategy, decarbonisation, operational, and commercial managers to develop and improve our processes, supporting our overall sustainability performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement reporting standards for sustainability performance, ensuring robust procedures and reporting standards.
- Implement effective data quality and assurance methodologies to ensure completeness, accuracy, and traceability to support internal and external audit compliance.
- Engage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to evaluate data and reporting requirements, creating outputs that meet their needs accordingly.
- Create informative reporting dashboards and implement innovative data visualisation to support and drive insight for effective performance communication to all levels of the business.
- Support compliance with regulatory and business reporting schemes to ensure the maintenance of business license to operate.
- Support the development and implementation of training programmes to BU teams to improve compliance.
- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills with a high level of analytical ability, attention to detail, and the capability to tackle complex data challenges.
- Proficiency in data analysis using a wide range of software and tools, ideally Excel, SQL, Power BI, and Power Query.
- Track record of development, implementation, and delivery of business data insights through visualisation tools and experience in identifying new and informative ways to share data insights.
- Experience in implementing, maintaining, and improving data quality standards and processes to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of data.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and develop relationships and networks.
- Flexible and keen to take on and learn new tasks and skills.
