Bennett and Game Recruitment is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join our team in a portfolio lead role. As an Audit Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of audit staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality audit services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of clients and ensure the delivery of high-quality audit services
  • Lead and manage a team of audit staff, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Plan and execute audits, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  • Review and analyze financial data, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored audit services
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve audit processes and services

Requirements

  • Recognized accountancy qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA)
  • Experience in audit management, preferably in a similar industry
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum
  • 40 hours per week, with a 1-hour lunch break
  • Flexible start time between 8am - 10am
  • 25 days annual leave, including 3-day Christmas shutdown and bank holidays
