Zachary Daniels is partnering with a rapidly growing retail and eCommerce business to find a talented Commercial Finance Analyst.
This is a high-profile role that will use accurate analysis to recommend clear actions, driving operational efficiencies and increasing profit.
About the RoleAs a Commercial Finance Analyst, you will report directly into an impressive Finance Director and be responsible for:
- Analyzing large data sets across the business to make clear recommendations.
- Using different data points to show a complete picture of performance, including financial and customer metrics.
- Introducing and advocating best practice analytical processes.
- Own the process of supplier profitability and cost price make-up, feeding insight into divisional teams.
- Supporting the trading teams in supplier negotiations.
- Automating key reporting requirements.
- Staying on top of the latest marketing trends.
- Performing in-depth analysis on sales and margin.
- Supporting the budget process.
- Working with non-financial stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualification or equivalent.
- Proven commercial analytical experience.
- Excellent systems, data, and Excel skills.
- Experience gained within an omni-channel retail/consumer background is highly desirable.
- A strong analytical approach.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to adapt and deal with change.
- Deliver to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work calmly under pressure.
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £40,000 - £55,000 plus incredible staff benefits, including discount, pension, and rapid career development.
