We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Night Care Assistant to join our team at St Josephs Care Home in Tring. As a Senior Night Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Shift Accountability: Conduct a thorough handover at the start and end of each shift, ensuring all residents are accounted for and their needs are met.
- Staff Management: Lead by example, promoting a positive and supportive work environment, and contribute to the efficient running of the home.
- Training and Development: Support the training and development of all staff, ensuring the implementation and monitoring of our in-house training program to a high standard.
- Personal Care and Safety: Support residents with all aspects of personal care, promoting independence and ensuring the home is safe and secure.
- Documentation: Ensure all night documentation is completed and signed for, and demonstrate knowledge of all records required to be kept by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
- Minimum of NVQ Level 2, working towards NVQ Level 3 or above.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor staff.
- Effective communication and interaction skills.
