Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Visual Effects Artist to join our team at Flix Interactive. As a key member of our VFX team, you will be responsible for creating visually stunning and immersive game effects that captivate player imaginations and enhance their gaming experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with designers, concept artists, and art leads to ensure all gameplay features are supported and amplified by informative and exciting VFX.
  • Work closely with animators to ensure VFX syncs up with animations and is correctly implemented in the engine.
  • Conduct performance and memory profiling to pinpoint bottlenecks and opportunities for optimization.
  • Stay at the forefront of industry trends, tools, and techniques in VFX and experiment with new technologies to improve visual quality and pipeline efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable professional knowledge of art and animation fundamentals that form the foundations of great VFX.
  • Significant VFX experience in the games industry, with a portfolio of work demonstrating ability to create high-quality real-time VFX for games.
  • Familiarity with in-game lighting, material creation, and post effects.
  • Proven experience creating high-quality VFX that run in real-time in Unreal Engine.
  • Full understanding and experience of the entire game production cycle and associated issues.
