Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Omega Resource Group is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and efficiency of our clients' equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with our engineering team to develop and implement maintenance strategies that minimize downtime and maximize plant efficiency.
  • Conduct regular equipment inspections and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure all machinery is operating at peak performance.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment histories.
  • Work closely with production staff to identify and address any equipment-related issues that may impact production schedules.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment efficiency and reduce maintenance costs.
  • Develop and implement procedures for conducting Predictive Maintenance (PM) activities, including vibration analysis and thermography.

Requirements

  • Electro-Mechanical Apprenticeship, NVQ, BTEC Level 3 or similar.
  • Previous experience in a maintenance or engineering role, preferably in a food manufacturing or FMCG environment.
  • Fundamental understanding of electrical maintenance principles and practices.
