Shift Pattern: 3 Shift
We are seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to join our team at Willcox Matthews Ltd. As a Production Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes and the success of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Line Management: You will be responsible for managing a team of 15 to 25 operators who work in the same time frame (shift).
- Target Setting: You will work with other supervisors and the UAP manager to define QCDP targets for the GAPs (improvement versus actual situation), including ppm, pph, TRS, absenteeism, number of accidents, and improvement ideas.
- Problem Solving: You will be responsible for reacting to problems, containing immediate issues, calling support functions, and building corrective action plans.
- Teamwork and Problem-Solving: You will drive teamwork and problem-solving activities, lead problem-solving groups and workshops (5S, Hoshin, TPM, SMED, 6 Quality Basics), and drive improvement ideas generation and implementation.
- Audits: You will conduct weekly audits with each GAP Leader to ensure the respect of standardized work.
- Daily Management: You will ensure daily management and have a permanent presence on the shop floor, with daily contact with all team members and close management of the lines.
- Support and Training: You will support and help to fix problems, build training plans to increase team autonomy, ensure training and coaching of team members, and manage annual performance interviews for all team members.
- Recognition and Promotion: You will ensure recognition upon individual performance, propose promotion and merit increase, and lead HSE core teams and drive implementation to follow.
- Training and Awareness: You will ensure all colleagues have adequate training and awareness.
- Shift Handover: You will arrive before the start of shift to ensure the transfer of all information from the supervisor of the previous shift.
- UAP Performance: You will participate with supervisory colleagues to improve UAP performance.
- Reporting: You will participate in UAP Top 5 and report line performance, successes, and issues as well as action initiated.
- Code of Ethics and Management: You will adhere to the Code of Ethics and the Code of Management at all times.
Requirements: Previous experience in the Injection Moulding/Automotive industry is essential for this role.
