Your Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner services
  • Collaborate effectively with fellow chefs, providing support and maintaining clear communication
  • Follow recipe guidelines to prepare, cook, and serve a diverse range of dishes
  • Complete daily documentation to ensure compliance
  • Assist with receiving deliveries and conducting stock assessments
  • Manage food orders and maintain kitchen records
  • Share responsibilities with the Chef Manager/Catering Manager for verifying and signing off on all food deliveries
  • Monitor and log temperatures of refrigeration units and hot holding equipment
  • Participate in routine kitchen deep cleaning
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all menu items
  • Oversee production and food levels to minimize waste
  • Act as a mentor for new team members, teaching them kitchen procedures and standards
  • Engage in necessary training as required

Required Qualifications

  • Catering and hospitality level 2 certification
  • Allergen awareness training
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills
  • Confident culinary skills
  • DBS check required
  • Adaptability and creativity in the kitchen
