About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Engineer to join our team at Mindful Chef. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in driving technical excellence and leading the design and development of complex initiatives.

As a Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership, guidance, and expertise to the team, while also contributing to the development of our platform. You will work closely with the CTO and other stakeholders to ensure that our technology stack is scalable, maintainable, and aligned with our business goals.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about engineering, has a deep understanding of our technology stack, and is able to lead and mentor other engineers. If you are a brilliant communicator, a relentless problem-solver, and a passionate advocate for technical excellence, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and guide the engineering team in the design and development of complex initiatives.
  • Provide technical leadership, guidance, and expertise to the team.
  • Contribute to the development of our platform, writing critical components of the system.
  • Conduct pairing sessions and code reviews to ensure quality, performance, and adherence to coding standards.
  • Help bring together frontend and backend platforms, teams, and software, reducing complexity and increasing collaboration and connected thinking.
  • Ensure the maintainability and scalability of the platform.
