About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Radiologist to join our team at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a specialist in urological imaging, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our radiology services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a broad range of diagnostic uroradiology, including cross-sectional reporting, fluoroscopy, and ultrasound.
  • Independence in acute and emergency radiology, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience of general diagnostic and oncology imaging, with a strong understanding of imaging techniques in related diseases.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with colleagues, patients, relatives, GPs, nurses, and other agencies.
  • Leadership skills, with experience of supervising junior medical staff and contributing to the development of our radiology services.
  • Good organisational and management skills, with the ability to act within the clinical governance framework of the NHS.
  • Computing and IT skills, with experience of using radiology information systems and other relevant software.

Requirements
  • Full GMC registration.
  • Relevant CCT or equivalent, with entry on the GMC specialist register or eligibility for entry within 6 months of the date of AAC.
  • FRCR or appropriate specialist qualification.
  • At least one year of recognised sub-specialty training in Uro Radiology.
