Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Controls Engineer to join our client's project development team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing full project engineering services, including feasibility, design, specification, procurement, installation, and commissioning of new factories or factory overhauls.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide full project engineering services, including feasibility, design, specification, procurement, installation, and commissioning of new factories or factory overhauls.
- Liaise with and manage interfaces with other engineering disciplines to develop full system designs.
- Prepare and manage the preparation of design deliverables, including Design Specifications, Instrument Data Sheets, and Test Specifications.
- Prepare and manage the technical specification for installation of control systems, including the creation of cable block diagrams, cable schedules, wiring schedules, and loop drawings.
- DCS and instrumentation on-site commissioning.
- Production and completion of all commissioning documentation.
- Provide technical support for C&I related equipment post-installation for manufacturing sites.
- Manage the procurement of equipment along with budgets.
- Manage onsite installation and commissioning, overseeing H&S.
Requirements
- DCS Design experience (Eurotherm).
- Strong PLC and SCADA System experience.
- Instrumentation specification.
- Experience with Hazardous Areas and Factory acceptance testing.
- Strong experience with projects and on-site commissioning.
- Detailed C&I Design skillset.
- Degree of HND Level education.
- Camera and Vision systems experience desirable.
